In The News - MVP 2011

Recognized for Exceptional Contributions to the Information Security community and to Microsoft Technical Communities as Founder and President of NAISG

ASHLAND, MA - October 01, 2013 - Fieldbrook Solutions LLC, an MIS and IT services company for small and medium businesses, today announced that its President Brad Dinerman was recognized as a Microsoft "Most Valuable Professional" (MVP) in the category of Enterprise Security. One of approximately fifty individuals worldwide to hold the prestigious honor in this category, Dinerman has inspired excellence while helping people through his practical expertise and willingness to share with peers in Microsoft technical communities. Dinerman is the founder and president of the National Information Security Group (NAISG), a member of the FBI's Infragard Boston Members Alliance and a member of the Microsoft IT Advisory Council.
"The Microsoft MVP Award recognizes exceptional technical community leaders from around the world who voluntarily share their high quality, real world expertise with others. Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts representing technology's best and brightest who share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others. Worldwide, there are over 100 million participants in technical communities; of these participants, there are fewer than 4,000 active Microsoft MVPs." said Rich Kaplan, vice president of Customer Service, Partners and Automation at Microsoft.
The National Information Security Group (NAISG) now has more than 3,000 members and multiple chapters around the country. Dinerman has earned an MCP+I, MCSE in NT4 and 2000, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as a Certified SonicWall Security Administrator and Acronis Certified Engineer. He even earned a Ph.D. in physics from Boston College "so that he could calculate how long it would take him to launch his frozen computer across the local highway," he remarks with a smile.
Dinerman has taught classes in Active Server Pages, JavaScript, HTML and The Theory of Relativity. A frequent contributor to online TechTips, Dinerman gives user group/conference presentations on topics ranging from spam and virus solutions to Internet development techniques. He has also published numerous articles in international physics journals in his earlier, scientific career.
Established by Microsoft in the early '90s, the MVP Award is a way to award amazing individuals for their outstanding contributions in a wide range of community activities. MVP status is awarded to the most active online community experts for their technical expertise, voluntary willingness to share their experience and commitment to helping others realize their potential within Microsoft technical communities around the globe.
